For our first webinar: Jens Völker, from our partner Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, will introduce the electromagnetic and mechanical design of our novel permanent magnet prototype and the assembly strategy. Together with ALBA Synchrotron and our industry partner Elytt Energy, HZB is jointly developing a tunable quadrupole prototype based on permanent magnets, conceived as a demonstrator for next-generation, energy-efficient magnet systems for accelerator facilities.
